Finding Motivation

My best friend since 4th grade is getting married this summer and she just reminded me that the wedding is in six months...ahhh.  Since I'm a bridesmaid I have a lot of work to do to lose some weight.  I started the Couch to 5k program at the beginning of the year.

For those who don't know the Couch to 5K program is a weekly training program.  They also have a mobile app that I highly recommend it is a personal coach in your ear and plays your workout playlist.  

To keep myself motivated in keeping up with this program I am singing up for two 5Ks this spring and summer.  When I was reserving my tickets for the 9/11 Memorial I saw that they are doing a 5k 

I've always wanted to do a color run and my best friend just said she would do one with me! 

We're doing the one in Brooklyn

I'm pretty excited and nervous since I've never been a runner!
