Nail Files

This is one of my favorite colors I own, butter in Blagger it is the most intense blue.  I did an accent of China Glaze Mosaic Madness. 

China Glaze GLiTZ collection: Mosaic Madness

I finally got my hands on one of China Glaze's GLiTZ Bitz 'N Pieces collection.  I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and picked up Mosaic Madness, which is a mix of gorgeous blue hex glitter of varying sizes, black hexes of all different sizes and some black bar pieces. 

I layered Mosaic Madness over butter Sprog. 

This is a great polish and the formula is great!! I had no trouble with application the glitter spread out evenly. The only work I had to do was a little fishing and placing of the large black hex pieces, but nothing too tedious.  I topped my nails with Seche Vite. 

I want to get my hands on some more from this collection.

Nail of the Day: butter London Fruit Machine

I'm in a Spring-y mood! 

I went with pastels and glitter

I chose butter London in Fruit Machine and Henley Regatta for the accent

I love, love, love this color but the formula is not Butter's best.  I had to use four coats to reach full opacity on some of my nails.  It could also be just a one time problem and it was an off night for my nail painting technique.  Since the color is so pretty and Spring-y I will definitely be using it a lot this spring and summer.  

Cruelty Free Beauty

I am a beauty product junkie!  I only purchase from companies that are cruelty free, I am a huge animal lover and can't stomach the idea of purchasing products from companies that allow this.  The good news is that a lot of brands have gone cruelty free and according to PETA large companies like Colgate-Palmolive are working on becoming cruelty free.

Some of my favorite brands that are cruelty free: Lush, Tarte, OCC, NYX, E.L.F and my favorite nail polish brands.
