My Favorite Things

  Since March is almost over I'm doing a round up of my favorite things I discovered this month.  Hard to believe we are already going into April and all I can say is THANK GOD!  This has been the never ending winter,I love the snow and cold weather, but even freezing temperatures after March 21st was getting on my nerves!  Surf Sweets Sour Worms I found these at Whole Foods they are so good!! They are a little pricey since I can get a bag at CVS for 99 cents and these cost over $2 but they are made with natural ingredients and do not have high fructose corn syrup.   I grabbed them while on sale at Whole Foods.
Mario Badescu Skin Care

I found their moisturizer at Ulta and became a fan of theirs.  I checked them out on Facebook and found out they will send you free samples.  You fill out a questionnaire about your skin type and they send samples.  I was expecting a small sample of moisturizer, no they sent 5 minis of their products with a skin care guide! 

Milani Color Statement Lipstick 

I paid $5 for this and the color is amazing and it lasts as long as the luxury brands.

This show started at the beginning of March and I've caught one full episode but yesterday I sat down and watched all four episodes so far and it's awesome.  I'm a history nerd and I'm half Scandinavian so it's interesting learning about my ancestors.  Perhaps I am obsessed with this show because of this...

Travel Tuesday

A favorite vacation of mine was a trip I took to West Palm Beach, FL and spent New Year's Eve in South Beach.

Ocean Drive

Another prerequisite Wet Willies.  Alcohol slushies are the absolute best!  I made my own combo chocolate and strawberry.

We partied a club called Mansion for New Year's Eve and I'm going to be honest I do not remember a whole lot about the club.  Admission to the club included top shelf liquor and free shots of Grey Goose.  I remember kissing a guy at midnight who went on to tell me he wanted to have 10 kids with me, so I hid in the bathroom for a little bit, met an awesome girl in the ladies room and partied with her and met some hot Italian guys.  Then my midnight kiss found me as I was getting to know the Italians and that was when I went back to the hotel.  

Oh and I left Miami with a new tattoo...

sorry my foot is so wonky I have the most awful toes! 

Weekend Shenanigans

 Hey everyone hope you all had a great weekend.  Pretty uneventful weekend here.

My best friend, Danielle, bought a condo, doing big girl stuff, and we went furniture shopping at Crate and Barrel, my favorite place on the planet!

She started taking pictures to remember what she wanted and I told her to start a housewarming registry!  We go to a customer associate and she asks to start a registry, the associate starts talking about wedding registries, apparently she thought we were getting married.

I didn't care I just wanted to go shopping in my playground!!

Finally got my eggplant seeds planted and now I'm just waiting for spring to finally show her face and I can start working on the rest of my vegetable garden.

Oh hey there's snow in the forecast for today

which also happens to be my first day back from spring break

Mom and I usually alternate for who's going to make Sunday dinner and my mom made eggplant rollatini 

I love eggplant!!

I'm just need to get to Sunday because...
